We are an independent department of the Alpha University School of Medicine, which is part of the 5500 acre campus of Alpha University. The school is located in the Greater London Area near the city of Oxford. Alpha University is explicitly committed to programs that foster the development of scientific advances and their application to health care.

The Anaesthesia Department of the Clinic offers a four year training approved by the Royal College of Anaesthetists (United Kingdom). In addition, the Department offers advanced fellowship training in anesthetic subspecialties and in anesthesia research.

A Message from the ChairmanThe specialty of anesthesiology has been marked by unprecedented growth and change since the first public demonstration in Boston of ether anesthesia in 1846. Today, rendering the patient insensitive to pain while monitoring and maintaining vital organ function during surgery remains the main professional activity of the anesthesiologist.
